Pure Gold

Our campaign for Narcos: Mexico was built around conveying a drug empire in decline. Our tagline, Nothing Stays Pure was meant to be a fun play on the cocaine trade while hinting that things were starting to go south. In our custom film “Party’s Over,” Felix holds his position at the head of the table he’ gathered - but for how much longer? Supporting videos from the same shoot gave viewers subtle teases of the alliances, rivalries, and relentless backstabbing that threaten to tear his cartel apart. 



The Tease

Prior to show footage being available, we shot a cryptic teaser in Mexico City featuring Diego Luna to announce the release date while giving a menacing hint to what fans could expect in Season Two.

Cartel Social Series

To give viewers a better understanding of who the players in this conflict were and why Felix’s cartel was collapsing in on itself, we designed this graphic social series that dives deeper into the drama of each of the plazas that comprise it.
